UDOIT Canvas LMS Integration

The first LMS LTI integration project I was project manager on was the implementation of UDOIT within Canvas. Our eLearning at Florida SouthWestern State College began work to create a self-hosted version of UCF’s Center for Distributed Learning Canvas grant-winning Universal Design Online content Inspection Tool, pronounced, “You Do It” in September 2018.

Blackboard Ally Integration

Florida SouthWestern State College began exploing the possibility of integrating Blackboard Ally into the Canvas Learning Management System in October 2018. After having demonstrations presented to the Accessibility Working Committee and eLearning Faculty leads the reception was positive in adopting the platform to perform Institution and Course-level accessibility checking reports for course content and including uploaded files.

Library Services Accessibility Projects

In September 2017 FSW Library Services decided to upgrade the existing LibGuides (CMS) to version 2.0 to provide a more responsive web platform for mobile devices as well as complying with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) web guidelines for accessibility.
